NEW OPENINGS THIS SUMMER

SUMMER ON THE AMALFI COAST: THE HOTTEST NEW PLACES TO BE SEEN (OR NOT TO BE SEEN IF PRIVACY IS WHAT YOU ARE AFTER THIS SUMMER)

LE SIRENEUSE MARE - NEW BEACH CLUB OPENING THIS SUMMER

Le Sirenuse Mare is easily the Amalfi Coast’s most talked-about new beach club, but it doesn’t feel overhyped or obvious. Set in Nerano and best reached by boat, it’s a world away from the crowds in Positano. It is quieter, more relaxed, and the kind of place you feel like you’ve been let in on. Created by the iconic Le Sirenuse, it has that same effortless, understated glamour- Crisp linens, long seafood lunches that somehow turn into sunset drinks, and just the right crowd. It’s small, hard to book, and very chic, which is exactly why everyone wants in.

That said, the real insider move is staying at Le Sirenuse itself. The beach club might be the reason people are talking, but the hotel is the whole experience with incredible views, that intimate, almost private-house feel, and access to the beach club without the usual stress of trying to get a reservation.

BORGO SANTANDREA - NEW RIVA LOUNGE

The brand-new Riva Lounge at Borgo Santandrea sits right on the hotel’s private beach (a rare luxury on the Amalfi Coast) just outside Amalfi. Tucked into the cliffs along a quieter stretch between Amalfi and Positano, it feels wonderfully peaceful, secluded, and effortlessly exclusive. The hotel itself, Borgo Santandrea, is a five-star property built dramatically into the rock, with terraces that drop all the way down to the sea, and the beach club (where the Riva Lounge is) right at the bottom.

The Riva Lounge is part of this private beach setup, and that’s what makes it so special. It’s only for guests, so instead of a busy, crowded beach club, it feels controlled, quiet, and really well put together. You can arrive by boat straight to the hotel’s private jetty, head down via elevator through the cliff, and spend the whole day right by the water, moving between swimming, lunch, and drinks without ever leaving your spot. Everything is designed to feel easy. There’s a beach restaurant (AqVa) serving simple seafood and Italian dishes, and you can have food and drinks brought straight to your lounger or sit on the terrace overlooking the sea.

What makes it stand out is how seamless it all is. The hotel is built so you can go from your room to the beach in minutes (even by elevator through the cliff), and once you’re down there, there’s no reason to leave. It’s that kind of place where the whole day just flows, swim, eat, drink, repeat -  with the feeling that everything has been quietly taken care of.

REOPENING APRIL 2026

VILLA SAN MICHELE: BACK THIS APRIL AND SOMEHOW EVEN MORE STUNNING THAN BEFORE

A BELMOND HOTEL - VILLA SAN MICHELE

Our favourite property in Tuscany has to be the Belmond Villa San Michele, and it’s one of those rare places that truly lives up to the hype. Perched high in the hills above Florence, this former 15th-century monastery feels like stepping into a dream, where history, beauty, and luxury come together effortlessly. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with sweeping views, peaceful gardens, and that unmistakable Tuscan light that makes everything feel magical.

Inside, the property is rich with character, with architecture inspired by Michelangelo, elegant loggias, and timeless design that blends history with modern comfort. With a limited number of rooms and suites, it feels intimate and exclusive, like your own private retreat in the heart of Tuscany. But what truly sets Villa San Michele apart is the experience. Imagine breakfast overlooking Florence, afternoons by the stunning panoramic pool, and sunset dinners at La Loggia - one of the most breathtaking dining settings in Italy. It’s peaceful, romantic, and unforgettable in every sense.

With its highly anticipated reopening in April 2026, this is a property we’re beyond excited for, and one that stays with you long after you’ve left.

SARAH'S GUIDE TO RAVELLO

RAVELLO: OUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO STAY
(PLUS A SNEAK PEAK INTO SARAH'S TRIP)

PALAZZO AVINO - RAVELLO

Ravello captures a quieter, more intimate side of the Amalfi Coast, and that’s exactly why we love it. Perched high above the sea, it feels like a peaceful escape from the busier coastal towns, with sweeping views that stretch endlessly over the coastline. Its charm lies in the combination of elegant historic villas, beautiful gardens, and a relaxed, almost timeless atmosphere. Walking through its cobbled streets, you’re surrounded by music, art, and a sense of calm that invites you to slow down and simply take it all in.

So where is the perfect place to stay to experience Ravello at its best?

Look no further than the iconic Palazzo Avino. Perched high above the coastline, this stunning former 12th-century villa is the definition of luxury and elegance, with breathtaking panoramic views over the shimmering Mediterranean. From its beautifully designed rooms to its world-class service, every detail feels effortlessly refined. The hotel’s pink façade, clifftop pool, and Michelin-starred dining make it an unforgettable experience in itself. Sarah has just stayed here, and it truly lives up to the hype—every moment feels like something out of a dream, from sunrise views over the sea to sunset aperitivos overlooking the Amalfi Coast. It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a destination you’ll never want to leave!

Perks if you book with us:

And the best part? She’s only halfway through her trip - which means there are many more incredible recommendations still to come.

She’s also been staying at the truly unique Torre Sponda, for those who like more of a relaxed vibe - self-catering, stunning views, great rates, 5 minutes walk into the centre of Positano. Self-catering so perfect for independent travellers and families!

In the meantime, enjoy a glimpse of her living her best life in Italy!
